More Dove Chocolate Bracelets

I am having a lot of fun making jewelry out of Dove chocolate silky smooth promises wrappers!  Dove Dark chocolates are still my faves but the others come in such pretty colors! :)

So far I have made bracelets in the Blue “Milk Chocolate” and the Purple “Almond Dark Chocolate” wrappers.  I plan to make something with the Pink “Raspberry & Dark Chocolate Swirl” and the “Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate” next.

These are made with Vintaj Natural Brass altered blanks, bezels, and findings.  I used Susan Lenart Kazmer Ice Resin on many of the charms.

Here is my Blue bracelet:

Stickles Portrait

I wanted to switch gears and do something different than jewelry design so, I made one of my “Stickles Potraits” of a friends dog to give her as a gift.

I thought I would share how I make these portraits.

First I draw the image on the board.

I apply various paints to color in the basic areas (not adding much detail).

Then I add the detail with stickles glitter glue by Ranger.   I work on the left side first and work towards the right.  If I try to work on the right while still working on the left I will invariably put my arm, hand, or elbow into the wet stickles.

The finished project:

Products used:

Claudine Helmuth‘s studio paints and brushes by Ranger.
