I love the Enchanted Leaf I received for the August Echo Creative Club!

This beautiful leaf is 1 3/4″ long, 1 1/4″ wide at the top and hand painted by Jeannie.

Antique Mall Find

I found this jar full of jewelry at an antique mall for $12 and just had to take the chance.

Below is a photo of the jar and a sampling of some of the items it contained:

Lots of earrings – mostly plastic.

A very cool little portable ashtray.

Pearls: some plastic, some glass.

Love this!

Not so good stuff – these were hidden in the middle of the jar.

The jar contained some good stuff and some bad but I think the good was worth the $12 spent – plus it was a lot of fun to go through!

The jar contained several silver herringbone chains which look like sterling silver. They were not stamped but cleaned up very nicely when I used my cleaner on them. Think I might take them to a jewelry store just to ask if they are worth anything :)

The earrings are mostly plastic and have posts as apposed to clips so I am assuming they are not vintage. I think they could be used in various crafts though.

Anyone want a bag of earrings?  If you do, make a comment and say ” I want a bag of earrings”.

I will pick a name and send you a bag with some earrings.
