My Third Project Using STAEDTLER’s FIMO® Clay

Today I am sharing my third design as the February guest designer for STAEDTLER.

I received some wonderful colors of FIMO® clay and some great FIMO® clay accessories!

Bohemian Teals

Materials used for clay beads and charms:

FIMO® effect Blue glitter clay and silver glitter clay

FIMO®classic Teal clay

FIMO® texture sheet, Baroque

FIMO® bead rollers, Triple Pearl

FIMO® Varnish, Gloss

ICE Resin®

Perfect Pearls, Gold

Pendant and beads:

I combined the blue effects, silver effects, and teal classic clay together until I reached the desired turquoise color I wanted.

For the pendant, I added texture using the texture sheet, then cut out a square.  I applied some gold perfect pearls and then baked. After baking I added a layer of ICE Resin®.

For the beads I used the rondelle shape from the triple pearl bead roller (I really liked this bead shape!).

I applied some gold perfect pearls to the beads, baked, then I painted with some gloss FIMO® Varnish.

Thank you STAEDTLER for the opportunity to work with all these wonderful FIMO® products this month!

Goodies From Tuscon!

I did not get to go to Tuscon but my friend Carol did. I asked her to pick me out some beads that she would like herself and she sent me some wonderful goodies!

Please excuse my photos – they are a bit dark. Couldn’t move them over to my photo table or many of the little beads would roll off and disappear into hidden areas of my craft room :)

I don’t know what all the beads are but love, love, love, them all!

The Goods

My fave! A fairy from Green Girl Studios!

Gorgeous pink and black glass?

Orange and cream.

Stone rondelles!!

Love me some crystals!

Miscellaneous goodies!

More miscellaneous goodies – love the faceted green aventurine?

Thank you my friend for this wonderful selection of beads!

Got My Beads for the BSBP!

I received my beads for the 7th Bead Soup Blog Party.

My partner Angela Perkins sent me a wonderful bead soup!

1. I think these are aqua terra jasper. They look very similar to some I have except these are greener.
2. Clay? Not sure but they are very pretty!
3. Reclaimed from a vintage necklace – faceted. These look and feel very similar to hematite except they are darker.
4. Silvertone pillow beads  – love them!
5. Silvertone toggle clasp
6. Carnelian focal

I am so looking forward to playing with these – love the colors and textures!
