Another Love Theme Project Using STAEDTLER’s FIMO® Clay

Today I am sharing my second design as the February guest designer for STAEDTLER.

They sent me some wonderful colors of FIMO® clay and some great FIMO® clay accessories!

I used FIMO® clay in the bezel and for two of the beads.

My daughter took this second photo outside to help show the detail better.

Materials used for clay beads and charms:

FIMO® effect Blue glitter clay and silver glitter clay

FIMO®classic Teal clay

FIMO® texture sheet, Baroque

FIMO® bead rollers, Triple Pearl

FIMO® Varnish, Gloss

ICE Resin®

Perfect Pearls, Gold

Heart Hobnail Bezel,  Medium: Art Mechanique ICE Resin®

Pendant:

I combined the blue effects, silver effects, and teal classic clay together until I reached the desired turquoise color I wanted. I added texture using the texture sheet, cut it out to fit my bezel, an used my fingers to rub on a bit of gold perfect pearls. I baked the clay in the bezel. I used E-6000 to adhere the fleur de lis. I prepared the resin, filled the bezel about 1/3rd full then placed my word cut out where I wanted it. I then filled the bezel up with resin.

For the beads, I used the triple pearl bead roller, rubbed in some gold perfect pearls and baked. After baking I painted with some gloss FIMO® Varnish.
