Hearty Clay is a white super soft air drying clay.
You can add a little water based paint to the clay before you shape it or you can add color afterwards. I added color after I shaped it.
Roll a piece of clay into a ball like shape.
Pat down into a circle about 1/2″ thick.
Press clock stamp gently down onto clay focal.
Press “I’m late” stamp gently down into center of clock image. Then cut away excess from the edges of your pendant and smooth with fingers. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Use a sanding block to smooth edges more.
Apply some paint. I used a brown paint. You are trying to get into the stamped impressions.
Use damp paper towel to gently wipe away paint. I left a bit of paint around the edges because I wanted a distressed look.
Use finger tip to apply some Ranger perfect pearls pigment powders.
Use some E6000 to glue to a brass bezel. Paint with a bit of clay gloss varnish.
Hearty Clay is super easy to use – no kneading necessary!
This clay is also super lightweight! I think it would be great to use for cards and scrapbook embellishments as well as many other creations.
